Hi Everyone,

My name is Melody and I'm 31 years old. I have the most amazing and supportive family and friends as well as two loving pups and and a kitty. In mid Feb 2024, I went to the endocrinologist and they found a tumor on my thyroid and diagnosed me with thyroid cancer. They say when it rains it pours, so that being said, I was also laid off in February shortly before my diagnosis. With the loss of my job, I will lose my health insurance at the end of this month (March, 2024). I am getting lobectomy surgery on March 21st, but the medical bills are starting to add up, and I don't know what medical expenses I will incur after my insurance is terminated. Right now, the estimated cost of just the hospital fees is $30,722, not including the doctors' fees or any additional medical costs that may arise.

I am not normally one to ask for help, but with my current health situation, I wanted to share my story here and graciously ask for any financial help you may be willing to donate.
