Hello everyone,

Our beloved Carla C. Quzts passed on February 9th, 2021  at 4:45pm from ovarian cancer. She had begun to feel some symptoms last July and in late September a lesion was found on her liver. After further testing, we found out that Carla had stage 4 ovarian cancer that had spread to her liver. By this point she had been admitted to the hospital and after weeks she chose to shift to comfort focused palliative care. Our Carla fought hard - know that. What an eloquent, quick witted, cool genius she was.

Her wishes were to be cremated. Cost of cremation at the mortuary I've chosen is $926.50. We are fundraising for that here.
($821.50 for cremation, $105 for death certificates.)

I am Carla's cousin, you may know me as Lindsey or Renee or Lindsey Renee. Our grandpa's were brothers and our moms were best friends. 
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. My cousin was taken away from us way too soon. It's shocking that she is gone. My deepest condolences to all that knew Carla. Feel free to reach out to me with pictures or stories. A friend once told me that grief is love with nowhere to go so I find comfort in sharing Carla and maybe you do too.
