Unexpected Funeral Expenses

Hey, Friends. I never thought I’d ever have to create a GoFundMe. However, this morning I discovered Kesi’s father in his apartment, deceased.

On November 19, 2021, I requested a wellness check for him because he had not been reachable. When the police made contact with him, he refused medical attention. He had not been feeling well. On Sunday November 21, 2021, he asked me to bring some dog food for his sweet dog, Jynx and some other items. I dropped them off to him and he was still not feeling well but still declined medical help. I texted and called the through this past week to check in and received no response. Today, November 26, 2021, after calling and realizing his phone had died, I decided to stop and check in on him. This is when I discovered he had passed away in his home.

He has no family and his children are all under the age of 18. Kesi is heartbroken. We have Jynx with us for now. Authority of his personal affairs has been turned over to me. I have been in touch with a funeral home and gone through the proper steps to determine end of life costs for him. We will be having him cremated.

While cremation is significantly cheaper than the costs of burial, it is still more than we can handle currently. If there is anything you can do to help, even if it is just $5, we would really appreciate it. Please help us lay Kesi’s father to rest. If there are extra funds, they will be used to pay any outstanding debt and to help care for the pup he left behind.
