Our family adopted a little puppy just a few days ago named Junior. He has brought immense joy and light to our family. Upon arrival, Junior was incredibly energetic and loved fooling around with the kids until this morning when he became extremely lethargic and developed an odd cough. We got worried and brought him to urgent care to find out that he has parvovirus, an extremely serious and contagious virus. The Dr. has advised us that because Junior is so small, his likelihood of survival w/o hospitalization is fairly slim. Hospitalization for only the first 48hrs is not only critical, but costs upwards of $6,400. And due to COVID, hospitalizations for parvo have increased to 10-15 days. He has 80-85% chance of survival. If you know anything about me, you know that my animals are my children and are treated as such. We will not give up on Junior, thus I am asking for help, a very difficult task for my family. Please help Junior survive this.
