On Monday, September 22nd at 4:30 am, a fire broke out in the York Manor Apartments in Seattle, WA.

Olivia Sons was one of the people affected by the fire. Luckily, she was able to get herself, her dog, and kitty out safely with no physical harm to them.

Unfortunately, they lost all of their belongings in the fire, and Olivia is having to build from the ground up.

Olivia is one of my good friends and is a friend that a friend would love to have. Beyond her loyal nature, she embodies both a force to be reckoned with and a feminine softness that is safe and embracing.

For years, she worked as a river guide on the Chattooga River. Before her eventual exit from Long Creek, she was an advocate for the underdog and is a huge reason many guides continue to believe in themselves.

While river guiding was a stepping stone for her, she has had many successes as a well educated woman. However, no one should have to be left to navigate this kind of tragedy alone. At this time, I am requesting financial donations so that she can begin to rebuild her life.
