Jason's Surgery Fund

It's the time of year for being thankful and giving...with that being said, very good friends of ours are facing things that are out of their control. Jason has just been diagnosed with OPLL (Ossification of the Posterior Longitudinal Ligament) and spinal stenosis. He is in need of surgery. The OPLL makes this a little unique to the narrowing of the spine! The ligament starts to fill with bone and swells the ligament into the spinal canal causing compression! The multi-level C sections along with spinal signal changes are the concern! Lucky at this time he has no neurological symptoms so he can do this preventative surgery now before it’s too late! Surgery is the only option he has because he is losing too much spinal fluid. The surgery is to widen the spinal canal so that his spinal cord is not so compressed because down the road if not corrected he can become paralyzed. Unfortunately the only surgeon who can perform such a surgery is not coveraged by their insurance, however he is willing to waive his fee and just have them pay for the equipment and anything else needed for the actually surgery. With the estimated cost being over $10,000 and the fact that he will be out of work for a minimum of 6 weeks. The holiday season is financially stressful on its own, but under these circumstances I am asking if you are able to donate a small amount to help lessen the burden of the financial impact this surgery will have on the Mill's family. Lets make it a lil less stressful and help them believe in a Christmas Miracle!!!
