In September 2021, Eric Michaud went to the orthopedist with pain in his hip. What he thought might be a torn muscle turned out to be a tumor on his femur. A partial hip replacement and biopsy revealed that he has cancer spread originally from the kidney. Renal cell carcinoma requires a series of treatments and therapies and the journey for Eric is just beginning. Despite this challenge, Eric is meeting this moment with incredible positivity, surrounded by love and support from his family and friends. With all of that light in his world, Eric plans on beating his cancer and spreading friendship and kindness to other people for a long time to come. But the treatments won't be easy or inexpensive.. We are seeking to raise $20,000 to cover Eric's month and out-of-pocket insurance expenses for the next year. This will help ensure that he has all the necessary resources and skilled care he needs.
