While working on my job as a Sales Account Executive I suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage and right ICA ruptured aneurysm. On December 16, 2013 I was taken by ambulance to RWJ Hospital Hamilton. Due to the severity of the aneurysm I had to be airlifted to RWJ New Brunswick. I immediately had to undergo three emergency life threatening surgeries that gave me a 50/50 survival rate.
I spent 21 days in CICU and then I was transferred to a regular room for a one week stay. By the grace of God I am home now recovering. Per doctor's orders I am unable to work for six months to a year. As a result of the aneurysm I have suffered short term memory loss and I am dealing with partial eye sight. I am unsure if I will require eye surgery at this time.
Unfortunately, I was working without health insurance because I had just started my new job a month prior to this traumatic incident. I am now faced with large medical bills as well as a mortgage responsibility. I am asking for donations to help me pay down my medical bills and keep my home.
