I’m writing this with a heavy heart as our lives changed overnight when my partner was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) The most fatal - fast-moving and aggressive type of blood cancer. After months of feeling unwell, we received the news nobody ever thinks to hear.

He’s the most loving, hardworking father to our 4-month-old baby boy. As our family’s sole provider, he’s always put us first, even when he wasn’t feeling his best. Now, without health insurance, he’s facing the toughest battle of his life: fighting for his health and for his family. We’re young parents trying to stay strong through this unexpected storm, holding onto faith, hope, and love for our baby boy.
