Almost 3 years to the day, the lump found in her chest was diagnosed as a very aggressive, triple negative, breast cancer. After enduring months of chemo, hospital stays for kidney stones, UTIs, a double mastectomy, and all the accompanying fear, pain and anguish, Liz was blessed with over 2 years of reprieve.
 
Recently however, she received a traumatic kick in the gut when told her cancer was back. Despite impressive efforts to put forth a confident and positive outlook, one can’t help but notice that she is scared and devastated. Facing yet another round of chemo along with the addition of radiation, she will no longer be able to keep her job much less pay the mounting medical expenses.
 
While still physically able, she spent and continues to spend her days as a professional care-giver while savings dwindle, and others’ care needs are put before her own. Liz faced her ordeal with an admirably positive outlook and incredible bravery. For the past couple of years, she dedicated herself to working harder than ever to meet the ensuing financial obligations. This recurrence however, has exhausted her and her resources. True to character; never one to give up, Liz is taking all available measures to win the battle before her. The bottom line however is, she needs your help.

I would like to help Liz fight this and keep her focus on the battle , not the financial hardship.   Her deductible is very high and she will miss months of work while undergoing treatment.  If we can help take the financial part off the plate I feel it will really help.
