A cry for help: Fighting to stay alive is my daily struggle

Updates on GoFundMe for Ndum Mildred's Kidney Transplant (2022)

The CBC Health Services uses this opportunity to once more thank people, organizations, and NGOs of goodwill who have so far contributed to Mildred's kidney transplant.
We continue to appeal for persons of goodwill to spare a meal and save a life. Mildred's life depends on the little contributions that you give in.

Mildred's surgery was scheduled for May 2021, but unfortunately, she couldn’t travel because the money raised (7,550,535 FCFA) wasn’t up to the cost of the surgery (14,300,000 FCFA).
It is thanks to these contributions that Mildred has been able to receive quality medical attention, dialysis, etc till today. Part of the money has been drained in her health interventions. As it stands, Mildred still needs the sum of (8,000,000 FCFA) to enable her and her volunteer donor to travel and pay for the kidney transplant in India. Luckily, India now accepts patients for this surgery, a process they stopped when COVID – 19 started.
Her poor family has been very appreciative to those who have contributed so far, and continues to hope that more donors will step into safe their precious daughter’s life.
Mildred says she had lost all hope but the contributions done so far by people of goodwill have given her reasons to hope for the best. She is very grateful and does not want to lose the hope that she has regained especially now that half of the money has been raised.
The Catheter (tube on her neck she uses for dialysis) developed severe infections and the doctor has advised it should be taken off. If this is done, she won’t be able to continue dialysis because she has exhausted all access points on her body to have a different one. Mildred’s case is further compounded by a fracture she recently sustained when she went for dialysis.

The Indian Hospital is at the moment doing a cross-evaluation of the test results and the operation will be scheduled immediately they conclude on that.

Mildred’s life is still hanging on the balance and she is still crying for your help.
We are using this medium to once more call on the public to save Mildred's life at this critical moment.
