Up in Flames.

2 weeks ago, my friend Jessica moved to Halls Crossing, UT to work for the National Park service as a landscaper. Halls Crossing is in the middle of nowhere, on Lake Powell, miles (100+) from any established city or town even. About a week after Jessica arrived with her truck and airstream, she went into the Marina one afternoon and came out to find her truck up in flames. As you can see from the pictures, she lost everything...her truck (her only form of transport for herself and her trailer/home), her kayak, all of her tools in the truck bed, her generator, meal cards, and more. She has not found a way to get any of this covered by insurance and the lack of phone signal and internet service has not helped her in getting any of this taken care of. Not only is she now living in the middle of nowhere without a vehicle to take her to get supplies for daily living, she is also left with no way to pull herself and her trailer away when her work contract is over in September. She also has to figure out and fund how to get what's left of her truck towed away, which in this situation will be costly due to how remote Halls Crossing is. If you have any money to spare to help Jessica chip away at the costs of towing, funds to get her to a town large enough to have a car dealership, and possibly some funds towards a down payment for a new vehicle as she continues to work hard to fund the rest of the costs towards a new vehicle and all other costs involved in this accident, I know she would truly appreciate it.
