Our friend and colleague Larry was on his way into work at Lawrence’s Fish & Shrimp on Canal St when a reckless driver smashed a parked car into him on the sidewalk. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition where he remains in the ICU for treatment from multiple injuries. Larry, a Vietnam veteran of limited means, has been an amazing part of our Lawrence's family for over 18 years on our night shift crew. His good humor and great work ethic are one of a kind. We are his family and he is ours and so it warmed our heart to learn a nurse on his care team is a Lawrence’s regular. Please join us in helping provide for Larry’s medical expenses and missed time from work in what is expected to be a long and painful recovery. He is so deserving of all of our love and support during this tragedy. We will also gladly pass along any notes of support and love from guests who know him. Thank you and bless you.
