Help Us Honor Mary's Memory

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Tessa, and I'm the daughter-in-law of Mary. I'm starting a GoFundMe on behalf of her children Arron Wilson & Amber Waltz. We are reaching out for help from friends, family, and our communities regarding Mary's funeral costs and memorial services.

On October 5, 2024 at 12:30 A.M. Mary was unexpectedly taken from us in a car accident involving a truck hauling horses in a large horse trailer. The truck struck her side and Mary was declared dead on the scene due to blunt force trauma, another passenger was taken to the hospital by helicopter and was touch and go for a bit but was fortunately released and the driver of their truck was taken by ambulance to the hospital and released the next day. From our understanding, the man who hit their vehicle walked away with little to no injuries.

Who was Mary? Well, that's hard to describe because she was so much bigger and brighter than a few sentences could ever capture. To many people she was the light when you're in the dark, trying to find your way. A warm hug when you're feeling down. A safe harbor to many, a shelter when they didn't have one and a helping hand when you needed it the most, even when she didn't have anything to give. She was one of the purest souls I have ever known and to us she was everything.

The thing is... if you knew Mary you knew she loved using this line which never failed to put a smile on our faces. She had many stories to tell us every time we visited or another adventure to go on. She would greet you with a hug and you just knew you were loved with zero judgement or expectations. To her children she was a source of unconditional love and unwavering support. She cherished and celebrated each milestone they have made no matter how old they have gotten or even when life has gotten in the way and was unable to attend those milestones in person. She passed on this love and support not only to her children but their spouses and to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was taken from us too soon and she will never get the chance to see her children, grandkids and great grandkids grow older. Never be able to witness another milestone that they make. We will never again see her smile, hear her voice or have another hug so full of warmth and love.

We will be saying our final goodbyes and our last celebration together for Mary's 65th birthday on 3/15/2025. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated during these difficult times and we thank you.

Sincerely,
A grieving family.
