My name is Mahmoud Jaber, and I find myself in the midst of an emergency situation that is beyond my control. Here in Gaza, we are facing unimaginable challenges—constant bombardments, dwindling supplies of food and water, and a healthcare system pushed to its breaking point. The toll of this conflict is not just measured in casualties, but in the shattered lives and dreams of innocent civilians like myself.

I never imagined that I would have to turn to a platform like GoFundMe for help, but desperation leaves me no choice. My family and I are struggling to survive amidst the chaos and destruction that surrounds us. Our home has been damaged, our livelihoods destroyed, and our future uncertain. Every day is a battle for survival, and we are exhausted, both physically and emotionally.

But amidst the darkness, there is still a flicker of hope—a hope that with the support of kind-hearted individuals like you, we can rebuild our lives and our community. Your generosity can provide us with the essentials we need to survive—food, clean water, shelter, and medical care. Moreover, your contributions can help us in our desperate attempt to evacuate Gaza and seek safety for ourselves and our loved ones. Additionally, your donations will enable my brother and me to continue our education outside of Gaza, offering us a chance for a brighter future despite the hardships we face.

As a fifth-year medical student, I am deeply committed to rescuing my future from the current wave of sadness engulfing Gaza. With your support, I am determined to overcome these challenges and continue my journey towards becoming a doctor who can contribute positively to society.

In addition to our own struggles, your donations will also greatly aid my family. My father suffers from chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes mellitus, while my mother has experienced deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The financial burden of managing their medical needs amidst the crisis weighs heavily on us, and your support would provide immense relief during this trying time. Furthermore, my youngest brother's education has been interrupted due to the war, and my sister has lost her job as a result of the conflict, adding to our family's hardships. Moreover, my eldest sister is pregnant and in need of good healthcare, which is scarce in Gaza.
