Family, friends, and partners,

  As many of you know missions have been a desire of mine for a long time. Over the past two years Southern Asia and Nepal specifically  have been growing heavier on my heart. Most would be familiar with my love of the outdoors and for God's creation. With that, and even more importantly, a love for His people.

  I have an amazing opportunity to attend a DTS (Discipleship Training Course) in Kathmandu, Nepal next September. There will be a lecture and learning period to familiarize with culture, grow closer to God, and focus on how to be most effective in the surrounding areas. Afterwards we will begin the outreach period, during this time we will be hiking to the remote people of the Himalayas to share the gospel by telling stories of Jesus, praying, and letting God work through us as examples of His Love for them. 

The cost for the DTS is 5,000 and the other 5,000 will be a start for raising full time support. I will be making a short trip home to visit family and raise a more solid support and partner base (one that I hope you will be a part of!) And then making a return trip afterwards. Since I will be quitting my full-time job once I leave, this is a crucial part of planning to make this journey successful.

My goal in this opportunity is to move into full-time missions work and spread His word through these parts of the world. To see people healed and to see them come to Jesus.  This also would include more humanitarian efforts such as rebuilding homes, medical supplies/care, etc.  I cannot express my extreme excitement for this move into where I feel God has called me and I hope that you will join me in its pursuit.
