We are running our first 10k in Uttoxeter as part of the Festival of Running. We have chosen to raise money for a charity that remains relevant to our career as support workers in a residential home for young adults with autism and complex needs. 

We have worked together since 2021 across 3 different care jobs. From residential to domiciliary care, we have both found own passion in the rewarding work care brings.  

Running is something the both of us have recently taken up as a hobby, starting off attempting to complete the Couch to 5K. We have chosen to run this race on the 11th of May as it is outside our comfort zone and something we see as a challenge. Together, we decided to add in the idea of raising money for charity alongside pushing ourselves to complete this run.
