Ashley Medical Expenses

My beautiful niece, Ashley is sixteen years old and was recently diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. This illness is a genetic disorder that affects the connective tissues that support the skin, bones, blood vessels, and other organs.   Additionally, Ashley suffers from Amplified Pain Syndrome.  Amplified pain syndrome (APS) is a condition in which the child’s perception of pain is increased due to the abnormal firing of nerves which sense pain and control vascular tone.  
In short, Ashley has been suffering intense pain as a result of these disorders.  Since her diagnosis, within a short period of nine months, her suffering has resulted in a deterioration of her ability to walk and function.  She has been a patient in a children's hospital in Florida with a medical pain team working on her case.  There is currently a plan in place to enlist Ashley into an intensified 3-4 week pediatric pain clinic out of her home state.
We are desperately worried about her, but are hoping that the doctors are successful in treating her.  
In the meantime, my beloved sister's family is struggling to keep up with medical bills and day to day living expenses; and the impending plan for them to travel out of Florida will add to the mounting expenses associated with this horrible illness.  
Any and all monetary help from our friends and family would be a life-saver for them.
