Too humble to share this herself or ask for help, let me tell you about Ashley.

Ashley is one of those people who keeps showing up for others, even when life has asked more of her than feels possible.

Since September 2025, Ashley has been in and out of the hospital battling serious blood clots, all while continuing to work and care for her two children, Zali and Jayceon. In the midst of her own health struggles, tragedy struck when her daughter’s father passed away on October 14. His viewing and funeral were held on Ashley’s birthday—a day that should have been a celebration, but instead became another moment of unimaginable grief.

In November, Ashley was admitted to the hospital again, but due to work requirements and financial constraints, she had no choice but to check herself out against medical advice. On December 2, Ashley received a cancer diagnosis that turned her world upside down. Even then, she has continued to push forward—scheduling chemotherapy and radiation around her work schedule because taking time off simply hasn’t been financially possible.

Through all of this, Ashley has shown remarkable strength, faith, and perseverance—not just for herself, but for Zali and Jayceon. She believes—and we believe with her—that God is good and gracious, even when we cannot see Him plainly. Still, no one should have to fight cancer while worrying about how to keep the lights on or how to be fully present for their children.

This fundraiser is to help ease that burden. A little help would allow Ashley to reduce her work hours while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, focus on healing, and continue supporting Zali and Jayceon during this incredibly difficult season.
