Scott Zimmerman's Funeral
Donation protected
Tres and I are friends with Scott and Patience Zimmerman. They were very special to us. They were in a car accident on Tuesday, March 29. Scott died instantly, and Patience is in a coma with poor chances of surviving. They were on their way to pick up their 7-year-old daughter from school. Scott's family was going to have him cremated due to a lack of funds. We discovered that his mother would prefer to have him buried next to her parents. For personal and religious reasons, it is also very important to us to have him buried so we asked the family if we could have him buried if we paid for it. His mom was overjoyed and so grateful. So at this time, we are asking our friends and family to help us raise the funds for the burial expenses, which include the plot, casket, tombstone, and other services regarding preparing Scott for burial. We've been advised that it could cost around $12,000 so that is how much we are asking for. Any amount collected that is above the actual costs of the funeral will be put into a trust for his daughter, Aurora, who has special needs and will benefit so greatly from the support. Thank you so much for helping us with these expenses and giving Scott a last gift that we know he would have wanted.
