Goal was changed after receiving final total of prosthetic.
Two years ago, my brother’s life changed. Our lives changed. He was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma... anyway’s, here’s his side of the story:
“I have not made this public knowledge until now. For about the last 2 years I have been having some horrible leg pains. Imagine your foot falling asleep, and you get that tingly sensation. Well for me it wasn’t tingly, more like sharp stabbing pains. Couldn’t figure out what it was. Then I went to get a hematoma removed, which was caused by my daughter kneeing me on my inner left thigh. Month later find out from the surgeon that it was actually cancerous. A stage 4 clear cell soft tissue sarcoma.
Few weeks later I start having those stabbing pains, so I call my dr and explain I noticed a bump on the bottom of my foot. So upon their request I go to get a biopsy. And come to find out it’s a cancerous tumor. So my oncologist set up a pet scan to get more info. Due to its size dr advised to get it under control and try to shrink it before considering surgery to get possibly get it removed.
So since about September of 2019 until June 2020 I have been on chemo trying to control it in order to get it to a state where surgery can come into play. Advised by surgeon that my best route would be a bka (below knee amputation). Both Haley and I have been to 2 other drs for second and third opinions. And looks like this will be the best route for me. So In a few weeks I will be undergoing surgery. Which means for the better part of the rest of the year there will be no new orders as I must put my health and family first. As I slowly go through therapy and get back to walking with a prosthetic I will slowly build up a stock on the more common items to be able and get orders out faster than before. Current orders will be fulfilled, only down to 4 more which can be achieved before my surgery.
I thank you all for being patient with me. I didn’t want to be one of those people who blame their health for not shipping out orders, but now you guys know why there has been some delay among everything else going on in the world.”

—Update—
On August 05, 2020 Carlos had surgery to have his leg amputated and now is cancer-free. However, he is not out of the woods yet as we know how cancer of any kind can be.
Today, October 26, of 2020 he is getting fitted for a prosthetic leg to help him walk.
Surgery, prosthetic, therapies, restructuring his home for his new way of life is not easy or cheap. This GoFundMe is to help him with any of those expenses that comes with having a life altering event like cancer.
Please consider donating and or sharing this page to help Carlos transition to his new normal.
Thank you.
