Total Hip Replacement

Hi, my names Kiyana,

I am fundraising for the remaining balance for a total Hip replacement for my dog Ellie, my insurance will pay so much but I am unable to cover the rest, as I am paying for on going pain relief for Ellie and unable to save due to this.

Ellie is a rescue from Cyprus I got her in 2020 through Covid, she was rescued by other family but unfortunately ended up in kennels in Portsmouth she has had a very long journey and overcome so many hurdles. Once I found her by chance when looking for a companion, from videos and pictures from the Charity I knew she was mine and she has been with me ever since, she is a bundle of energy and her and my daughter are like two peas in a pod, but recently over the last year she has really suffered with walking.

She has been to the vets, had x rays and they have said she needs a total Hip replacement on her left hip, due to severe Hip dysplasia... Ellie loves going on walks and going out but unfortuanatly she can not do this anymore due to the amount of pain she is in, and the Librella injection is not working as well as it did,

Surgery is now my only option so that she can have quality of life as at 7 year old she is still a young dog living in a old dogs body.
