Hi, my name is Stephany and I am raising funds to help cover the cost of a wheelchair vehicle for our sweet 8 year old son, Logan.

Logan was born with Quadriplegic Spastic Cerebral Palsy, Congential Cytomeglovirus and Microcephaly. At age 3, he experienced his first grand mal seizure, that slowly developed into Lennox-Gastuat syndrome, a debilitating epilepsy diagnosis that fully affects his quality of life. It has made it very difficult for Logan to take steps forward in learning, and developing any ability to care for himself. Logan requires FULL care 24/7 and is immobile, unable to use his arms or legs. His seizures over the years have had stroke like activity on his brain, setting back most strides Logan has made toward ability and communication. Despite these conditions, Logan is a full of life 8 year old, who loves his family and always has a smile on his face, one that’s truly contagious. He absolutely loves school, classmates, and most of all his siblings. Being able to get around in his wheelchair, seeing his adored outpatient therapists for physical therapy and speech therapy, and just being able to travel in the car with his family all are things that Logan enjoys tremendously. The benefit of having a wheelchair van will not only improve Logan’s quality of life, to transport him to and from important appointments and therapy/treatments, but will assist in the ability for Logan to travel easier with our family, as it has become more and more difficult to transport both Logan and his wheelchair in our family vehicle. Any and all funds raised will go to fund the cost of an already converted rear access wheelchair van.
