It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Nolan McInerney.  Nolan was born on April 5th, 2010 in Colorado Springs and was just nine years old.  He loved his family very much. Nolan was strong, loving, helpful and a great big brother and example to his five-year-old brother, Rylan. Nolan was generous, kind and polite. He loved Jesus, his school, school friends, words of affirmation, football, his dog Charlie, playing guitar, monkeys, and taking walks. He will be remembered for these things and his "one sock quirk". Nolan's mom, Michelle, called Nolan her "prince" and her, Nolan and Rylan referred to themselves as the "three musketeers." His auntie Kimberly and Uncle Joe will miss him very much. 

The last scripture Nolan was studying at school was John 15:13 which is "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." It is so sweet to know that Nolan is now with his Lord and Savior, the one who laid down his life for him. Jesus Christ showed what perfect love is by his death on the cross for us (1 John 3:16).

Beyond accepting this sacrifice for our sins, we are called to love our brother in the same way. So many people have reached out and asked how they can support this family. The family asks for prayer and for financial assistance at this time.
