Hey everyone, my name is Brandon Gonzalez and I am 25 years old. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in December 2024 and quickly had surgery to remove my left testicle in January 2025. They also found two small tumors in my right testicle, but my surgeon and I decided to just do frequent ultrasounds to monitor them. A year passed with no growth or change, but we ultimately decided that to minimize risk, I would have surgery to remove it on January 26, 2026. My surgeon scheduled a CT scan two weeks before my surgery just to make sure the cancer hadn't spread, which resulted in us finding that I had an enlarged lymph node on my left side, meaning it had spread from the tumor in my left testicle before the surgery a year ago. So, the surgery has been postponed, and I have now started BEP chemotherapy. January 28, 2026, was my first day of chemo, and it will be nine weeks total, consisting of three three-week cycles. It will be a difficult time period, especially since I have never gone through something like this.

To make things worse, I had a job offer with a February 17 start date that I will now have to decline as I will not be able to perform the onboarding tasks and job responsibilities. I will also be immunocompromised due to how aggressive the chemo medications are, so I would have to avoid coming into the office, and it's a fully in-person role. Therefore, I will no longer have a future income and will have to begin my job search again once I have recovered from the chemotherapy.

While most of my medical bills are covered, this loss of income was unexpected. These funds will help with essential living expenses, like rent and food, so I can focus on resting and recovering without the financial stress. I know times are tough, so I greatly appreciate any amount of support. Even just a message, prayer/manifestation, or sharing this with others would be great. Thank you so much!
