A Special Call for Help from the Dog Sports Community
Hi everyone,
My name is Kika, and I’m the breeder of the young sport dog Miss Jones, who is owned and deeply loved by Bianca Koole.
We’re reaching out to the dog sports world because Miss Jones is part of this community—a bright, promising young dog who has already captured many hearts.
Tragically, Miss Jones had a severe encounter with a porcupine. Around 50 quills pierced her side, and two of them migrated deep into her body, causing serious damage to her heart and lung. After undergoing a CT scan, it became clear that she requires extremely complex and high-risk surgery.
If she makes it through the surgery, her road to recovery will be long and uncertain.
As many of you know, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive. In just the first 24 hours, the costs have already risen to over €15,000, and they are continuing to climb.
We’re doing everything we can to give Miss Jones a fighting chance. We want Bianca to be able to focus entirely on Miss Jones’ recovery without the crushing stress of financial pressure.
If you’re able to help—whether through a donation or by sharing this message—we would be endlessly grateful.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love and hope,
Kika
