My Camps International trip to Cambodia (2026).

Hi, my name is Ruby, I am a student fundraising to go on an expedition to Cambodia in 2026. I will be playing an active part in community development work and whilst living alongside local communities in two different camps. I will gain experience in the Cambodian culture. On my trip, I will working to improve lives of rural communities, working on a range of projects, each aligned to the UN sustainable development goals, designed to make a significant and lasting impact on the regions most critical issues. This will include, building Wells and water storage pots, to provide drinking water, building Toilets, improving infrastructure at the local schools and refurbishing community buildings. We will also be getting stuck into some environmental focussed projects. This will include reforestation with native saplings and using cash crops that are both sustainable, and beneficial to the local communities.  Over the next year and up until Summer of 2026, I will be working hard carrying out events and tasks to assist in raising these funds. I fully appreciate that a lot of hard work and self discipline is needed from me to achieve my goal.  Any donation will make a difference to me and what I aim to achieve in Cambodia.  Thank you for reading my story.
