We’re heartbroken to share that Selina’s beautiful 16-year-old daughter Savannah has been diagnosed with DMG ( diffuse midline glioma) an aggressive and incurable brain cancer. Doctors have given her only a short time to live with just a few precious months of quality life remaining.

Just weeks ago Savannah was preparing for her GCSEs, picking her prom dress and looking forward to celebrating the end of her school year—like any 16-year-old should. In a devastating turn, her days quickly shifted from school and friends to hospital appointments, scans and sheer devastation.

Selina, a much-loved member of our Metropolitan Police family, is now facing every parent’s worst nightmare. As her friends and colleagues, we want to rally around her and help in the only way we can—by easing the financial burden so she can focus entirely on Savannah.

This fundraiser will go directly towards:

Creating lasting memories: Special days out, quiet moments together or short getaways to bring some joy and peace

Essential care costs: Including hospital transportation and other medical-related expenses

A beautiful farewell: When the time comes, giving Savanna the dignified and heartfelt send-off she deserves.
