Help Me Save My Son
Donation protected
My friend Elizabeth Clark has asked me to create this GoFundMe to get help for her and her son. All information in this post was approved by Elizabeth, no trust or confidentiality was broken.
As many of you are aware this pandemic has taken its toll on people in many different ways. Elizabeth has asked me to share her story here in hopes of donations of money that will help. Her son (who will remain nameless due to his age) has suffered a huge change in behavior. This is a loving kid who would go out of his way to help people and now is in such a state of depression that the medical experts believe the only hope for him is getting him residential care where he will receive the life-saving treatment he needs.
Depression in youth is much different than what adults suffer. Unfortunately, this young man is almost a completely different person now. He no longer wants to live, he does not care about things he once treasured and is trying to destroy the relationships he has.
We need your help now more than ever. She needs help to pay to have him transported to the residential treatment center and cover the cost of a fresh start away from the unsavory influences that he has fallen prey to. Every dollar that you can help with is greatly appreciated. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are praying that our village will help us save that child as well.
