We have been in ownership of Derby Gaol for the best part of 25 years.

This beautiful historic Gaol [jail] has been returned to its original state when it was first built in 1756.

unfortunately due to age creeping up up the building really needs soe work done, i.e ... the fireplace needs fixing as we can no longer use the real fire as the chimney now leaks smoke into the residents above. we would love to restore the fireplace bck to its original glory and make it safe to use again.

so we are asking for your kind donations to help fund the work tht needs doing on this historic building and its fireplace.

we are also wanting to open this building up as a 17th century coffee and tea room serving derbyshire brand coffee and tes as well as home made cakes ect...

so....please help us get Derby Gaol back to what it should be so everyone can enjoy it once again in its atmospheric fire light and candle lit rooms
