Hello, my name is Lynda Frost. I and a few other friends from my church set up this GoFundMe for John Baker and his family.

John Baker and his 4 children lost their wife/mother a year ago this coming April. We met John through our grief counseling group at our church, where we learned of the sudden passing of his wife Jolita last year. John hadn't been in our group for very long when tragedy struck his family again. His 14-year-old daughter Jordan was tragically killed on March 4, 2023. The family was still grieving the loss of their beloved wife and mother when this tragedy happened. Needless to say, John and his family are devastated.

After the loss of his wife, the family went from having two incomes down to one income. John is a hard-working father who works tirelessly to provide for his family. John and his 4 children have been living in an extended-stay motel for the past year. It just so happened that a member of our church and also a facilitator for our grief group had a house become available for rent. He and the children were so excited and couldn't wait to move in, especially Jordan. She had already decided which room would be hers. Sadly, they will not have their loving daughter/sister with them.

We are collecting donations to help the family with moving costs, furnishings, several months’ rent, rent deposit, groceries, medical bills, utilities, and any expenses they may incur.
