A cause I care about needs help
UPDATE as of 20 August 2021 - The Great Hospital Hike is finally taking place on 18 September 2021. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated to such an amazing charity.
Many of you will know what happened after I gave birth to my daughter, Ruby, in July 2018. After falling really ill immediately after the birth and the teams at Southmead fighting hard to save my life, I was transferred to King's College Hospital in London diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. Shortly after I had to undergo an emergency Liver transplant. This is a very condensed version of everything that happened, but ultimately if it wasn't for the Liver Intensive Care Unit at Kings, I wouldn't be here today. We received notification of this opportunity to raise money and wanted to go for it, to attempt to say thank you for saving my life. The 17 mile hike was originally due to take place on 28th March 2020 but was postponed several times due to Covid. Again thank you for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
