This is Michael Hernandez-Maldonado. Michael is an 11th grader at Dean Technical High School in Holyoke Massachusetts. Last week Michael and his family were the victims of a house fire that left them homeless and without almost all of their personal belongings. Needless to say, this has been a very traumatic experience for this family and they deserve the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Michael is a great kid. He is hardworking, conscientious, and incredibly personable. After the fire, Michael told me that he was worried that he and his family may never be the same, that this fire was the start of a downward spiral. Please help Michael and his family rebuild their lives. Please help me make them whole again. Thank you.
