Support for the Marshall Family

In September, Beth suffered a grand mal seizure while at home. She was taken to the emergency room where doctors found two tumors in her brain and a third near her hip. It was then that Beth was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma and she was transferred to UNC REX.

Beth has finished her course of Stereotactic Brain Radiation treatments and is preparing to start a Double Agent Immunotherapy as part of her next phase of treatments. She has a wonderful team of doctors and the best support system—Connor, their parents, and siblings have stepped up to help Beth as she embarks on a marathon treatment for advanced stage cancer.

As a working professional and Fitz’s primary caretaker, however, Beth is going to need additional support. She is restricted from driving for 6 months and her calendar is now filled with medical visits. From insurance deductibles to childcare arrangements to unexpected costs for IVF the expenses are adding up quickly.

Beth and Connor are fiercely independent and asking for help is not in their nature. So, their family is asking on their behalf. Contributions to this fund will relieve financial burden on Beth and Connor and allow them to center Beth’s recovery. All proceeds will go directly to the Marshall family.
