Helping my mum

Donation protected

On Tuesday, April 14 my mum had a seizure outside of my house and was taken to Scunthorpe Hospital where it was found that she had a bleed on the brain. She was rushed to Hull Royal Infirmary where it was discovered she had three brain aneurisms, one of which had ruptured. I was told that there was a very high chance my mum was going to pass away, and if she did survive there is a big chance that she wont be the same person any more or that she will be disabled.

My mum, being the incredibly strong woman she is, came through the operation and is currently in intensive care recovering and able to speak a little.

We are currently waiting for her to be well enough to go back on to the ward.

Throughout this time I have not been able to speak to her or see her because of the Corona Virus and I am currently trying to deal with everything from afar.

As she has beaten the odds and is pulling through I don’t want the worry of finances to halt her recovery. She is self-employed and was working as a key worker up until her seizure and so had not applied for the government help scheme and is therefore not going to receive any money while she is poorly.

If anyone could help donate anything so that her household bills are covered while she recovers to help ease that burden I will try and match them where possible up to £1000. I know it’s a tough time at the moment for everyone and I feel so guilty asking for help but I love my mum so much and I just want to give her the best possible chance of getting her back to her wonderful old self.

Thank you.
