Urgent Help for Single Mom Facing Eviction
Donation protected
Hello,
I’m reaching out to YOU!
My niece is a single mom of two, works two jobs to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table and it still not enough to pay the additional rent. She’s had to battle through multiple issues for the past three years, the first and foremost is a mental breakdown she has faced had caused her to lose weight, sleep, self esteem and depression.
Her son has autism and faces so many health issues with several hospital visits and admissions causing her to be unable to work.
She’s currently at risk of eviction and was supposed to pay additional monies which she has not missed a payment. per agreement with her landlord. She was waiting on her taxes to pay the total amount that is owed. But unfortunately the state has taken all of her taxes due to a vacation she won from a radio station! She wasn’t unaware that she even had to pay taxes on something she won…please beware of this.
She regrettably doesn’t have the funds (She has reached out to every rental assistance nonprofit she could find—none of them have funding available right now.
This has been the most humbling chapter of her life. She never asks for help like this before. She’s tried to carry it all on her own, suffering in silence. But we believe God is teaching her a lesson in vulnerability—and giving her the strength to let others in.
I understand that she is not the only one that needs help right now. Alot of people are struggling right now as inflation is so high with food and rent. Our cost of living ratio to income is very hard to live manage especially as a single parent.
Anything you’re able to give helps more than you know. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this with others means the world to me.
