Dear friends, family and
acquaintances ,
Myself and my family had the hardest choice in our lives our mother was rushed to the hospital Dec 3rd suffering from a cardiac arrest her heart had completely stoped multiple times causing her to be without oxygen for more than 4 minutes. Little did We know the next 72 hours would be the most pain and suffering my family has ever gone through. We kept our hopes alive praying for a miracle, she was put on life support while the doctors were doing test to see her brain activity we hoped for progress and the chance of a miracle to get her out of this horrible situation. On Saturday Dec 6 We met with doctors who told us the heartbreaking news that our mother was declared brain dead. Myself and my brothers and sisters had to make the hardest choice of our lives to set my mom free of all of her ills (diabetes, dialysis, amputation, blood infection) and disconnect her from life support.
We watched her peacefully take her last breath surrounded by all of her children. It was the hardest moment of my entire life.
I begged God for more time with her but We know We made the choice that she would want to be free No more pain, no more suffering.
This is extremely hard to write this on behalf of my mother and my family but we are reaching out to ask for help to cover medical , funeral and burial expenses.
My mother was 61 years old she was a very happy person, very loving and kind, who would give her last dollar just to help somebody in need. She loved music , dancing the Swapmeets and her grandkids. We would like to send her of properly any donation small or big will help as this event has caught us all off guard, We thank you in advance for your contribution.
