Returning the Favor
Donation protected
It is a rare thing to come across someone as selfless and gracious as Daniel. My name is Sean, I met Daniel about 7 years ago when he came to work for me as a maintenance supervisor. I no longer work with Daniel, but over the years we became good friends. Daniel has always been someone to offer his knowledge, time, and work to assist others. This experience is not something that is unique to me. Many others will describe Daniel the same way. Regardless of what he is faced with he has always remained positive and gracious in his actions.
As it has been for many of us, 2020 has been a difficult year for Daniel. He experienced a major, life altering medical emergency early in the year. Since then he has remained steadfast in his mission to always be there for anyone in need. A few weeks ago Daniel was in a severe accident that, among many other injuries, caused him to lose his leg. He is on the long road to recovery now and remains in high spirits. There will no doubt be tough days ahead and he has many obstacles to overcome. However, I am confident that he will meet this challenge head on as he has done many times before.
As a Christian, Daniel has always embodied the direction of Christ to "love your neighbor." As I contemplated on how to impact Daniel and his family best, I decided it was time to return the favor. Many of you reading this may not not know Daniel and may never have the opportunity to know him. I am willing to bet that you know someone like him, or have at some point in your life. Someone that has given themselves selflessly to their fellow man without pause. With that in mind I am asking you to consider offering anything you can to Daniel just as you may if the person you knew was in need, and just as Daniel would if it was someone else on the receiving end of this life challenge.
Daniel has impacted so many people in his life and I have no doubt he will continue to do so. It is now time to Return the Favor for his many years of selfless service to his community, friends, and strangers. Thank you in advance for reading this and offering any donations you can. These donations will be given directly to Daniel to be used for medical bills, mortgage payments, etc. The last thing I want to happen is for Daniel to recover and have another large hurdle to overcome.
