My sister, Nicole, recently moved from Spokane, WA to Anchorage, AK for a job just a few weeks ago, and last night her condo burned down. She is now without a home or place to stay, and almost all of her things were not able to be saved. She is physically fine, as is her dog, Kaya. But she was not able to get her clothes or other possessions out with her (the firefighters were able to get her insulin and pump, thank goodness). We are raising funds in order for her to find a place for her and Kaya to stay while she figures out her next steps and to help replace what she has lost.
