Please Help Us Keep the Music Alive!
For over 45 years, the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre, a registered charity, has delivered individual, affordable music lessons to the at-risk children of low-income families in Toronto.

But that’s only part of the story.
We teach kids how to learn.
We teach kids how to succeed.
We teach kids how to use their creativity to express who they are.
Music lifts these kids up!

The CCAC teaches over 7,000 lessons a year, helping close to 200 children each week on a budget of under $250,000.
We have made a real difference in our community. In survey of our graduates 2009 -2020, we found 83% are enrolled in or have attained a post secondary diploma or degree. This is far exceeds the Toronto average of 72.5% (Stats Can Census 2021)
Today we find ourselves at a crossroads. In this increasingly tightening economy, more corporations are tightening their belts and shutting down programs that support the arts. The CCAC has lost two major donors this year, putting our future at risk.
We are appealing to you to help us keep the lights on. Canada has always supported the arts and multiculturalism. It is part of who we are.
Please give what you can and share this fundraiser with your friends and family.
Help us keep the music alive!
Sincerely,
Glen Loucks, Executive Director
