Ryker Douglas McClurg

Anyone who knows either the Nelson or McClurg family know that they are some of the most kind, generous and loving people you will ever come across. Unfortunately, the past few years have been filled with nothing but tragedy for them. It started with the devastating death of (son/brother) Coleton Nelson who was killed in a horrific car accident 5 years ago. (Father) Wayne Nelson then ended up losing his right hand and forearm on a job site. The tragedies did not stop there! This year included the passing of an amazing man, John Warman, (brother to mother, Brenda Nelson) who passed away a year after finding out he had terminal lung cancer. Then the Nelson's beloved dog Summer, who belonged to Coleton, was put down two weeks ago.

NOW, on Thursday, February 18th, THE EXACT DATE that Coleton Nelson passed, little baby Ryker Douglas McClurg, son of Chrystiee and Jake McClurg, went to sleep and never woke up. Unfortunately, to top off all the agony they have experienced, the death was pronounced inconclusive. Therefore, the family is left with absolutely no answers! Little Ryker could light a room with his smile and infectious little giggle. You were privileged if you had the chance to have known him. There are many aching hearts mourning the loss of this precious baby boy.

This family of 4, soon to have been 5, survives on only one income. They were in the beginning stages of building a new house and a beautiful life with their boys and soon to be baby when this horrific event happened. Therefore, you can understand the struggles they are now having to face.
