In Memory of Terry Joe

Hello. My name is Ericka Lawing, and I am Terry Joe's sister. On behalf of my family, I would like to personally thank each of you for visiting this page.

We unexpectedly lost my brother on May 31, 2022 in Brooklyn, New York, which was his second home for many years.

Terry Joe was a beautiful and caring person to his family and everyone who knew him. His sudden departure has left us both devastated and heartbroken.

We were financially unprepared for this nightmare which took him to his final resting place in Tennessee, where he was born and raised. Any donations will be applied to funeral expenses.

Lots of family and friends have asked how they might help or what they could do for us in our time of grieving. So, in lieu of flowers, we decided that donations would be better for individuals who would like to help the family during this horrible time.

We appreciate all the support and will forever cherish the outpouring of love we received from Terry's friends both in Brooklyn, New York as well as here at home. A very special thank you goes to Terry's family at 773 and Shenanigans.
