Hey everyone!!! As all of you are aware Bridget Hendrix has been diagnosed with stage four rectal cancer, treatment only. With it being in the bone, there could be an exception to the ‘treatment only’ We hold on to that hope. We are raising money for hospital visits, possibly as far as Houston Texas to MD Anderson Center, due to this particular mutation of Cancer not having a medical target treatment at VA nor UAMS. Another factor for this financial request is the reality that she will have to be away from work to complete these treatments FMLA without pay. To update you all, She went into remission, but it came back with a vengeance. On Aug 8,2023 she had to go to the emergency room, where Doctors discovered a new lesion in her sacrum that entered into the spinal canal ,all while laying dormant in her blood. Bridget is fighting all the while keeping her faith strong!!! Many have asked what can you do to help and how can you help. This round of chemotherapy is going to be extreme and Bridget will have more bad days than good. Her family and friends will be fighting along side her and we will not give up. Because we know that we know that we know she will be the exception.
