I am asking for help this holiday season to give this sweet girl the care she needs. Arya has been the best dog a person could ever hope for. She has been my one constant for so many years and has stayed by my side through every chapter of my life. We grew up together while bouncing from place to place, trying to take on the world as a team.
Life has finally blessed me. I was able to buy a home and meet an amazing man who is now my husband. Together we have become the family Arya always deserved. She finally has a place to call home and a loving family to grow old with.
Over the years, she has patiently put up with my endless photos and all the times I made her pose for hours. She has given me nothing but love and loyalty. She deserved safety and comfort, but instead, she was hurt by something as simple as a squeaker and a piece of string.
If you are unable to donate, I truly understand. This time of year is financially difficult for so many people. I still want to raise awareness for other pet owners as they shop for Christmas toys. Even toys labeled as safe, such as squeakers and tug ropes, can become dangerous in a matter of seconds if our pets swallow parts of them.
Arya recently underwent a life-saving procedure to remove a blockage, and during surgery, they had to remove seventy-three centimeters of her intestines. Before surgery, we had three different veterinarians look at her. She had several X-rays, blood work, and lung checks. Every vet told us the same thing. She is very healthy as she enters her senior years. She has no cancer, no tumors, and no concerning health issues. All three hospitals agreed she is absolutely worth saving and that she can make a full recovery with minimal complications. They believe she still has a long and healthy life ahead of her.
We are asking for any help to bring our girl home so she can heal surrounded by her family. Thank you for reading and for caring about Arya. Every share, every prayer, and every donation means more than we can express.
