Hi, I am having a fundraiser for Brayden Sarrazin who is 17 years of age and has to now have open heart surgery. He is a caring and big hearted boy who would do anything for anybody. The family has had to make several trips to both Ottawa and Toronto for his heart condition. They originally started at CHEO and were then referred to Toronto Sick Kids where they had attempted his first procedure, he was under for 5 hours that only to find out that they were unsuccessful. He was then referred to The Ottawa Heart Institute where a second surgery was attempted, he was under for 8 and a half hours with this procedure which was unfortunately once again unsuccessful. He had complications after this this procedure which had scared the family but thankfully is recovering from these complications. He now has to go back to Ottawa for a third attempt which involves open heart surgery this time. Dad is off work currently with mom as the only full-time income coming in. The family has exhausted all of their savings by having to stay in motels and at time family members and having to endure travel costs along with food costs all while having to accommodate meals for their 3 younger children who remain at home with their uncle and grandmother. So please let's help you Lyndsay and Darryl and the rest of the family through this difficult process and pray that this time the surgery will be successful!
