Help Basma's family escape Gaza and rebuild their lives

We are Anderson Duarte Santos from Colombia and Camilo Marquez from Australia. We created this campaign to support our dear friend Basma Khaled Kaddoura, a 24-year-old Software Engineering student living in Gaza, Palestine, who—alongside her family—is enduring unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war. With her full consent, we’re raising funds to provide urgent essentials like food, water, and shelter, and to help them rebuild their lives when they are finally able to leave Gaza. Every donation goes directly to Basma through trusted and verified channels.

Here are Basma’s words:

"I am Basma Khaled Kadoura, a 24-year-old Software Engineering student living in Gaza, Palestine. Since the day I was born, I’ve lived in an area filled with conflicts and wars, and I’ve never known what it feels like to live a normal life in peace. Like everyone else, I have the right to live in safety and peace. Gaza has faced catastrophic destruction in the recent war, and it feels like we are living in the apocalypse. My family has faced death over and over due to the continuous and brutal bombings. Although we’ve survived multiple airstrikes, we are still living in extremely difficult conditions. Every moment carries the threat of death, and I don’t know if my family and I will survive this war, but I pray to God that we do.

We have no food, no shelter, not even the most basic essentials of life; everything here smells of death, destruction, and hunger. We live in a small, unsafe space that lacks the minimum necessities for a dignified life.

Your generous support can give us a new chance to start over. It would help me continue my studies and work toward a brighter future for myself and my family. Your donation today is the hope we desperately need to escape this torment—it is our only chance to get out of this tragic situation.
