Restore my faith in human kindness

On Saturday night a man who we all know very well aged 77 years old saved all year to go to the Greyhound Derby at towcester. A man we all know as a kind and honest man, who gave so generously to the the retired Greyhounds I was helping to collect for. A man who is a very proud man and would be not be happy with me for doing this. Never the less he is a pensioner and a diamond of a man. On Saturday professional or non professional pickpockets stole £700 from this man and luckily the friends who he was with chipped in £200 for him. Very honourable I would hope that you can help me raise the other £500 to give back what was stolen ? and restore my faith in human kindness. Any amount would be absolutely amazing and so kind if you did give. I will not mention this man's name and I know you will trust me to do what's right with the money that is collected.
