Hi my name is Emile and I hate asking for money, and I never thought I would have to do this, but I have no choice but to ask for help.

As many of you know, Rosie was given some heartbreaking news last week. She has been diagnosed with an ectopic ureter and hydronephrosis. Today we visited a specialist in Guildford, and they have offered her surgery. Sadly, our insurance company has refused to cover the operation due to a loophole.

Rosie went to the vets the day after we brought her home with sickness and diarrhoea and she wasn’t insured at that exact time. She was insured shortly after, but the vet had noted a “fishy smell” to her urine. Because of this, the insurance company is classing her condition as pre-existing, which makes no sense to us at all — but this is where we are now.

We are trying to raise £6,000–£7,000 for Rosie’s operation, which is booked for 7th January, so time is incredibly tight. The specialist has said her prognosis is not good without surgery, and we will do absolutely anything we can to save her.

Rosie is the most beautiful soul. Everyone she meets falls in love with her, and we love her more than words can say. I promised her the best life, and I intend to keep that promise.
