Point to Point

Hi. My name is Lyndsay. For the past couple of years I've been working to get syringes, naloxone, and most importantly, harm reduction ideas to people who need them in Kane county. While the state's attorney, coroner, and local medical centers are all in support of what I'm doing, I'm still doing most of the work myself. People are starting to know and trust me, making what I do broader and more effective so I'm expanding my operation. I'm working with the well established Chicago Recovery Alliance to get supplies and the local health department is supplying naloxone (Narcan), but I still need some help getting this to the level the community needs and deserves. My car is breaking and, because this is a one woman operation right now, it's the only way supplies get where they need to be. I also want to print up some tshirts to help publicize what I'm doing to the drug using community out here.  Additionally, we have been providing fentanyl testing strips so people know exactly what they are using and can better prevent overdose. Funds will go towards a down payment on a functional vehicle, getting some tshirts printed up, and continuing to supply drug users the crucial fentanyl testing strips. This work is incredibly important to our community so please help me move Point to Point forward.
