I’ve been diagnosed with a rare and life limiting lung disease called
Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis.
There is no cure.
The only fix is a lung transplant.
Medicare will pay only 80%. I will be responsible for the other 20%.
I am already using Oxygen, can only walk short distances (less then 50 feet) and then need to sit and rest.
There are some supportive devices and equipment that are not covered by Medicare or other insurance. I have a current need for a portable oxygen concentrator that is not available through Medicare. This device is only available by purchase and costs approximately $3000.00.
I am currently doing diagnostic testing to prepare for the surgery which could happen in a moment’s notice after qualifying.
